Hello

i have bought a new sony vaio which had google chrome pre-installed.

i have uninstalled google chrome to install a later version not realising that, that is the only browser on the laptop.

I now dont have any browsers lol and dont know how to install one.

Anyone know what i can do to get a browser?

I have a Vaio and if you hover your mouse right at the very top (centre) of the screen, a banner falls down. To the right is the 'e' internet explorer icon. If you click this you can access Internet Explorer.

Surely you don't have to uninstall Chrome to update it ? Every other browser just updates what is there.

Indeed it does, the check for updates on Google Chrome is on the 'about' screen.

tbh, I never liked FF, opera or chrome, but the v11 opera is growing on me, the old "spare" browser on my pc (currently FF) may well be going permanently in favour of opera, but still like IE7 best

I used FF for some years but am now a dedicated Opera man - it's great having mail and web up together - and it is SO fast !
