I'm new to all this DIY stuff so bear with me!
We're buying a house with 2 boilers, one for central heating and one for hot water. One of the boilers (I think its the hot water one but not 100%) needs replacing so we were wondering whether we should just replace it, or get a combi boiler to do both jobs? What are the advantages/disadvantages of this?
Also, how much would it cost for boiler, instalation, coverting into one system altogether? I know we'll have to get different quotes but we don't have the house for another few weeks so just wanted to start budgetting a bit for what needs doing!!
Many Thanks xx

Not familiar with the 2 boiler concept, but I have just had a gravity system replaced with a combi boiler (33kW potterton) and it cost me £2300. No additional rads etc. just the pipework to re-locate the combi and remove tanks etc.
I'm no-where near you location wise so its just a representative price.0 -
