Can anyone advise on whether any of these three might get a better result than others when applying for credit cards please? I could actually be described by all three!

In my experience Retired gives you a better chance of getting accepted but would depend on other circumstances such as income current level of debt and credit rating. Can anyone advise on whether any of these three might get a better result than others when applying for credit cards please? I'll echo Brian's advice. Among the three choices it is declaring yourself as retired that will give you the best chance.
Good luck.
