with the new changes brought in on the sure start maternity grant its says ur only entitled to it for ur first child!
my girlfriend has had a child in a previous relationship,
this will be my first child, an i have a full time job on 15000 a year

I assume your GF receives CTC if so the other child will be added to a joint claim if you are together, a single claim if you are not, she'll receive child benefit as standard.
