What when how why - veg
Not sure whether this is a good idea. However my packs of seeds and growing instructions always seem to contradict each other!
So just going to start a thread about what have you planted, where, how and how they are getting on.
Ill start......I am an enthusiastic gardener in herts. Small greenhouse and smallish veg patch. Idea is to plant things we eat the most but also the more "expensive" things. Growing your own carrots is great and we did last year but for all the effort and wait i find 2kg in tesco for 20p!
Seeds - Planted Feb 5th
Beetroot - Pots - Greenhouse
Broccoli - Pots - Greenhouse
Onion - Pots - Greenhouse
Iceburg Lettuce - Pots - Greenhouse
Mixed Salad - Ground - Greenhouse
Raddichio - Pots - Greenhouse
Aubergine - Pots - Greenhouse
Courgettes - Pots - Greenhouse
Cucumber - Pots - Greenhouse
Sets
Onions - to plant outside today.
Will keep updated when germination happens and new things go in.
