shopacheck...is this right?

Ive received 3 letters from Shopacheck addressed to two different people who I don't even know.
I rang shopacheck to tell them that these persons dont live at this address.

They said they would sort it only to receive another letter addressed to a person I don't know. I have rang them to complain and they said it was a clerical error and would be corrected.

Is this Fraud? Someone has been using my address and postcode to obtain credit from shopacheck. If these people default will it will look bad on my credit rating conerning my address. Confused!!

Get a copy of your credit report from Experian and Equifax to put your mind at ease. They will try and get you to pay for the expensive report (with a pointless credit score) but insist on the £2 version.

You can do a free trial online with them but remember to cancel before the 30 days are up (I cancelled after a few days 'cos the trial will continue for 30 days regardless).

I think martin has written articles about credit rating verses addresses,if not your local library will have a which report on the subject of credit ratings.
