eBay international item returned to sender (me) should I send again?

I'm registered as a business on ebay and have just started up.

I sell jackets and recently sold one to Norway. Heres the senario

I sell item and dispatch (cost me £12)
After 2 weeks buyer says not received
I reply with tracking details

today I received the return (addresee changed)

My question -

Should I request buyer pay for postage again?

You can ask and they can file a DNR...

Sorry but what is a DNR?

They mean INR, item not received.

Ultimately you have to cover costs in getting your item to the buyer. However I find buyers in Norway very very good if there is a problem. Have you established that the address was wrong, if it was, whose fault was it (did you send to PP or Ebay address)?

You may like to ask them how they would like to proceed, it may make them offer to pay some or all of the second lot of post. If it doesn't and they still want the item, you will have to absorb the cost.

For your info, tracked services from Royal Mail (AS and ISF) are not guaranteed to track outside of the UK, so unless your item is worth more than £41 it is a waste of money imho. Unless of course it is heavier than 2kg and you used a courier.

Did the parcel/tracking say addressee changed or addressee charged? Norway is not in the EC so it could be returned if customs charges were levied and they had not paid them.

Thank you very much for your response. My profit on the item is £10 and delivery to Norway costs just £10 so if I send this again I will be at a loss. But I do understand that I may be responsible.

I haven't informaed the buyer yet but will do now, hope they are understanding and covers part of the deliveyr fee.

I send to their Pay Pal address which is also the same as their ebay address

The item was returned with the box "addresee changed" ticked. So seems like the buyer is at fault here.

My worry is that they'll demand me to send again and leave negative feedback.. I just started business

Royal Mail only tracks in the UK but I checked the Norway postal service website and the tracking info reveals -

    Error occured in processing
    Reason: Addressee has new address
    Measure: Returned to sender

Sold items, posted to registered address then get an email after the "I have sent your item" mail:-

"I have moved, please send to <somewhere else> but I have not updated my eBay or PAYPAL addresses"

    Oh dear....
I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.
