i would like to put away a fixed amount of money every month for my daughter who is 2 years old. i am happy to lock away this money. any ideas on a high interest account??

I'm looking to do the same, and scarborough building society are doing the following:
Children’ s Accounts
Children’ s Savings Bond (Interest rate guaranteed to be 1% higher than the Bank of England base rate for the full 3 years. The maximum balance is not inclusive of
interest).
£5 - £5,400 5.75
I think the only problem is a limit of £250 per month.
