    Did they book a room.:)??

Still a bit OTT, but if you take a chance you cant complain if you get stuffed! Well you can! Lucky it wasn't LBS they would have had the car as well!

"We rent some of these spaces from the Railway Company at over £60 each per week and its only due to the fact that our car parking spaces could not be used most of the time due to illegal parking by others that we engaged this clamping company."

And what law be the so-called "illegal" parkers breaking I wonder?

    Sue the hotel

    Roll on the clamping ban

And the woman in it and sold them on the same day.

If they booked a room hope they cancel and get a refund and tell the hotel to get stuffed.

The story started here on pepipoo the other day, by the husband:

I hope they get their money back.

I have commented on the DM article pointing out that no-one parked 'illegally' and that they all need to read up on the truth of the situation and learn about PPCs before they are mug enough to actually pay a private parking ticket or something. Just shows how gullible the British public can be.

I doubt my comments will be cleared by the moderator as it includes a link to pepipoo.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I live not far from Newcastle and heared a lot of things about the Station Hotel and their infamous clamping policy. Shocking! If I would have to make a choice between booking a room in there and sleeping under the stars I know what I would prefer ;) and besides there a lot better and cheaper hotels in Newcastle.
