When ive tried contacting them after xmas the phone numbers had changed and now charge £1 per minute to speak to someone about your claim, I am starting to get worried this is a scam and ive given them details about myself.....Anybody help !!!!!!

Hi there, dont think you will get any joy with this company i am afraid. Did you pay money up front?. I am sure people who have had dealings with these will post up for you, and they may be able to help.
  • No I didnt pay anything up front..they take 25% of whatever they claim back for you....

They do always say calls from mobiles will cost considerably more!
I would suggest you ditch the mobile in favour of a landline

Calls to 0871 328 ... numbers are charged at the g7 rate on BT residential landlines (which currently means just 10.211ppm). An 11.5p call set up charge will also apply. You may be able to get calls even cheaper by using an alternative call carrier. :)

  • It does not matter if you phone from mobile or landline...the contact number giving states its £1 per minute.....

Did you sign anything with them?.If you did then write a letter to them to cancel their services, you can say that you dont think they have dealt with you in an appropriate manner. This cannot be a scam, as they have not taken any money from you up front.Send the letter recorded and see what reply you get. If you can cancel them, then you can claim your ppi back with the help of this site for a lot less than 25% PLUS VAT.

Of course it does, the amount of money you pay to call somebody else is determined by your tarrif on the phone you are calling from. Ignoring inclusive minutes calls from mobiles are in general more expensive. What number are you calling?

if you didn't pay them anything then you haven't lost anything if you leave, unless you're liable for their 'costs' so far (like solicitors always say).

is it unlawful to charge £1 per min when someone calls you?
