Do I need to cancel all BIN's if going on holiday for a week?

I have about 8 buy-it-nows listed that still have 3 weeks to run, but we'll be off on holiday in 2 weeks time and I was wondering if the only option is to cancel all of them(providing they don't sell before we go, a few probably will but not all) I've come across buy-it-now listings that said something like "seller is away untill xxx, you may purchase the item but there will be a delay" but after searching I can't find how to put such option on and not sure whthr it is a good idea in the first place as there always will be somebody who will not notice that and then need item urgently.
If I do end all listings at the same time would "ebay police" get suspicious?

If you have a SHOP you can add your holiday settings (those you describe above).
If it were me, I would ensure all the BINS had immediate payment option ticked, so that if anyone buys, they must pay straight away. Then I would end them a day or two before I went on holiday.
You may still get the odd email if you have sent something and it hasn't arrived before you go away.0 -

I hadn't though of using the immediate payment option, what a good idea!!!
(except that it may pixx off some of my buyers, will have to make sure it's explained properly)0 -
Oh I see, no I don't have a "shop". And I do agree, "immediate payment required" is a great option, I use it on all my BINs.
Will just have to cancel the ones that don't sell then.0 -
Immediate payment is a good thing if you want to sell right up to the last minute, but need to make sure you can post.0

Really wish there was a "suspend" your auctions for say a week while your away to save cancelling them and then paying more to relist..Would come in really handy, people wouldn't be able to see them while they were "suspended"...0

There is that exact option in your shop holiday settings.0 -
I don't have a shop. I do have lots of BINs.
I cancel all listings while I'm away. I'm happy to pay to relist as it's better for me than to have grumpy buyers knocking down my feedback.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Or...another thread has given me an idea.
If it's a short holiday, why not reprice your BINs up to triple what they should be, and way above what your competitors are selling for, so no one will buy from you, and when you return from holiday, put them back to normal price again.
Your listings can then run for the normal time rather paying more to relist when you return.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
