The results in the yellow box with "Ads" in the corner are indeed paid for. The 'real' results start below that. It amazes me how many people are apparently oblivious to this distinction.

it also is the 'nhs.org' that makes it look official too

Surely if they know that these are available, then they should also have a good idea that they are free? It is clear on the official NHS site (www.nhs.uk) that these cards are free. That information is repeated in more than one place.

I still find it difficult to understand why anyone would use a site that is not the official site for any information or indeed to apply for such a card unless it was through a link on the official site.

it was the nhs.org that admittedly caught me out :mad: does anyone think the distance selling regulation act would work with this site
