Hey all,
I have recently taken to actually having to become account for my finances and have filed a compliant for PPI on the Halifax ONE credit card. Form filled in and recorded delivery sent to them on Friday and now waiting for the reply/signing of this record.
I shall update here on what the out come in - the card at the min is rocking in at £5,897 - it is now being sorted.
I've had the card for just over one year but it's time to battle back and get informed!

Good luck.
As you may already be aware, they have 8 weeks normally to give a decision, but they may as well send you a letter of acknowledgement.
Fingers crossed on your reclaiming. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Confirmation - 14th February.
I have received a letter today that states that they have received my letter. Which is good because I have the signature at their end.
Summary is that they have received my letter and that "My understanding of your complaint is that you are concerned by the way that you were sold PPI on your Halifax credit card."
This has then been signed... in pen... by a real person... oh my.
Maybe the line in the complaint about feeling "alienated by a bank that I would always call 'my bank' and has a moral duty to uphold their slogan of 'a little extra help' " has hit home.
I'll keep you informed.I wish I had a picture like Martin Lewis that spins round.0 -
