Ugg boots

Hi

basically i purchased two pairs of uggs on ebay one pair from sole trader and the second from a private seller, 100% feedback only pair of uggs sold and seemed genuine.

anyway i received the private sellers first and they didnt seem right but thought I would wait till i received the ones from sole trader arrived and the private sellers ones have different sole print and different labels in side.

Does anyone know i site where i can check the design of the cardi uggs for each colour to see if genuine. I have looked on uggaustralia and they are no longer on there.

Also does anyone know a retailer who will do the letter to confirm fakes?

Many thanks

Ugg changed their sole design last year from the zig zag pattern to a deign of a sun logo with rays which go out towards the edges of the soles.

This year they introduced holograms inside by the label, a sun monogram and ugg wording image which is imprinted on the label on the back of the heel heel and a new style box.

Just because your boots are different does not make one fake and one genuine, they could both be fakes so I would investigate both styles before making claims against one or other seller as you don't want to get stuck with inferior quality boots.

Ugg boots sell quickly and rarely stay in stock over more than one winter which is usually a good indication that older designs sold bnib on ebay could be fake, m&m direct sometimes sell off older styles and have sold cardi uggs in less popular colours so the private seller may have bought them that way so you can make allowances for an older design, I would not go on feedback for ugg boots, some people are totally unaware of fakes and others are more than happy with fakes having paid less than rrp on genuine boots.

No stores are willing to do letters for ugg boots, ugg australia may be happy for you to send them off for inspection but they won't return them to you if they are confirmed as fake. Best advice is to go to a high street shop and compare them you can usually tell by seeing a genuine pair.

one pair is genuine as bought from Sole trader an official ugg stockest so I know they are real.

the second pair (private sellers) have a different sole and different logo to my real ones and the buttons are a different colour to all the ones I have been able to find on authorised stockest sites.

Its only the newer boots that have the hologram on, I had read the ugg site on how to spot fakes.

I wouldnt pay what i paid for the private ones if are fakes - i wont buy anything thats fake.

Sorry I thought you meant a sole trader not the sole trader high st store :o so best to compare to those.

If you think that the ones from private seller are fake, I think you should message the seller, chances are they will say they thought they were genuine even if they know. Was it the private seller that had feedback for another pair of uggs? Are they selling anymore pairs? If so they might be quick to ask you to return them for a refund in a hope you won't leave them a neg.
