BT phone bill trouble

I have a BT business account and missed a payment for £130 ish.
Ive now got a bill for £430
theres a one off charge for £260 which is an early termination charge.
I dont want to close the account, i just want to pay the bill ammount and keep it open and pay a reconnection fee if applicable
they say that i have to pay full ammount or they wont reconnect me, presumably i'd get my £260 back but i cant spare the money at the moment
any ideas?
