  • For my tuppence worth;
    Do not use NBM Law, we used two different branches for a sale and purchase and had arranged an exchange and completion day but when i called the day before to make sure I knew what steps to take they have no record of any exchange.
    They will also add extra 'optional' charges where circumstances just happen to work out that theyre no longer optional.
    We've currently been waiting 4 days for them to release the monies from the sale so are currently homeless and penniless thanks to NBM Law.

    Layoff timmy. Much more of this and you'll be marked for spam.

    Well, it was actually something he posted back in Feb (that everyone else ignored 'til today...).

    When you have a vested interest, posts like Timmyt's have no credibility. In his world, "do a lot of business" = "poor service". Not necessarily the case.

    you do tout for work! Not saying "give me work" but regulary drawing attention to what you do for a living. I agree with DVS, borderline spam.

    The best way to promote yourself that is to provide consistently useful and credible advice on the situations ehich are challenging to the layman. I point you to the excellent Richard Webster who has NEVER touted, asked for marketing tips, actively derided peers (as you do) yet if I were in his area is the guy I would go to for my next move in a heartbeat,

    More advice and less promotion would serve you well. Currently your post history is too sales focsussed for me to feel comfortable using your company.

    We are not thick and you are too transparent. Or you seem that way, I don't know how much you realise it. Or maybe you do not care.

    Some very valid points in Timmy's post but some of us are happy not to pay for the additional stroking and costs of a high street solicitor. As long as the job is done properly and it is uncomplicated why not save yourself some money?

    The ones who include typos in every piece of written English to the extent that many are barely intelligible.

    eg.......... TimmyT's.

    Have to agree with this and the converse that if I were looking for a solicitor in the area I don't think I would consider using timmmyt's firm - even though I have never had any personal interaction with him, just because of the conduct I have seen everywhere on this forum.

    So do you run a conveyancing firm? Are you a solicitor?
