Hi all.

I was following this forum for some time before submitting my complaint to HSBC. Without actually posting I felt it was an excellent resource for information. So thanks to all the boards regular posters.

After submitting the complaint I have been in the similar position of having several investigation letters before receiving their holding letter to say the investigation would be on hold till the outcome of the JRis known and obviously I'm aware this will then be subject to appeals.

I just wanted to know of other people in the same position with the worlds local bank are holding on, writing back to them or going to the FOS at this point. I'm aware of the backlog of complants with the FOS and was hoping, rather optimistically that I wouldn't receive the holding letter but I realise that so many people are in the samestage. So to para-phrase my waffling what are others in the same position with HSBC doing.

And the best of luck on your reclaiming.

With 2 of mine via lloyds I am going to sit it out a little longer, they have been with them since Oct just as this JR issue started, but you do what you feel is best for you.

Thanks Di. After looking at advice on this site, my most likely option was to sit tight and wait. I sent my complaint right at the start of October, so here's hoping to a speedy (as speedy as it's likely to get) outcome.
