ok i have been asked by a company to provide 3 months bank statements (its about the 4th co they tried to get me finance with)
so scenario is.............
bank account A
has no regular payments going in, i transfer money over from account B to cover a few dd's but nothing much, no charges on it in past 3 months but i did take a wonga pay day loan in december so i think that would be a bad point
bank account B
regular money going in and out, but over the course of the 3 months it does show up with 1 bank charge back in november
so............ which account would you show them?

Before you rush into it what company are asking for bank statements?
How much is the car and what is the flat rate?0 -

Yeah thats true, well the company have asked for bank statements which means they don't trust you based on your credit rating.
Bank account A they will say no because of no money going in.
Bank account B they are going to wonder what your bank charges was for.
Is that good enough;)0 -
Not only that but if I know bottom feeder car finance companies, there'll be about 200 searches on your file by now."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

It's all very well assuming that a lender is a 'bottom feeder' as you so eloquently put it, but did you intend to insult the OP at the same time on the basis that you clearly assume that he/she is one of the 'bottoms' being fed on?0 -

You could already be in an ever decreasing circle.
With 5 recent searches each lender is going to distance themselves from offering credit so you chances are reducing all the time.
I would show them the account showing a regular deposit. I would be amazed if they said yes after looking at an account with nothing going in (of any substance).0 -
i understand the more they search the worse it gets, but if i dont get an ok from this one who wants my bank statements i will be calling it off anyway0

to be blunt star is correct, I would look at it as you are living beyond your means so how will you service hp also0

what looks as though i am living beyond my means?
and they know exactly how the hp would be paid for as it is for a taxi, through a taxi company, so anything that goes in and out of the bank now is over and above my earnings anyway0
