Could anyone please advise if Health Insurance premiums are increased if no Family History information is available due to the applicant being adopted?

Both health insurance and medical insurance (just in case you mean PMI rather than PHI) will not normally increase premiums if you cannot declare the health of direct family. However, if is something you should disclose as a material fact rather than just ticking the box to say they haven't suffered anything (just to be on safe side).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Health insurance premiums are not raised overnight and require modification under government policies for health insurance providers to raise their premium. I am from India, and recently there have been an additional tax levied on hospitals by the Indian government. This tax burden is passed on to health insurance providers who in turn have raised their health insurance premiums.
I have a family health insurance policy from Max Bupa Health Insurance who is the leading provider of health insurance in India. However, I am not sure if they have raised their premiums or not. For more information on the same, visit, MaxBupa.com/

I have a health insurance plan and never had to declare my family history, mine is on a moratorium basis so no medical history was declared. I don't think the health insurers worry to much about family history it is more the life insurance side of things for that.0
