Income for a credit card application

Hi,
I'm a seccond year student and looking at applying for a credit card. The question I have is what can I count towards my income for the purposes of the application. I think I've read somewhere that a bursary can count as income here, but can't find anything about that anywhere. Would there be anything else other then income from work that could count towards it?
Thanks.

Depends on the credit card company. It may be worth speaking to the bank you have a student account with to see if you can get a student credit card. Student credit cards take student grants and parental contributions.
For example

Yes bursary would be ok, and your student loan for the year divided up by 12, would give yo amonthly figure which can be added on. Any regular monies that your parents give you can count too.0
