Hi,
I dont know if anyone can help me. I want to add 2 downlighters to an exsisting circuit in my bedroom. It will be running of the same switch as the original light so will just need extra wiring. Does this need to be done by a qualified electrician? And does it require certification by the same if done by myself?

It's not notifiable under Part P of the building regs, so you don't need a qualified sparks to do it - as long as you understand the current wiring regs that will apply0
