    I've been Money Tipped!
    Congrats on the impending birth.

Having become a mum 7 months ago, we swapped our 2 door nightmare with the car seat for a sliding door van/car (Berlingo 2.0 HDi). Soooooooo easy now with the car seat. Drives really well, comfy for long journeys and good high up driving position. For £4000 not sure it's a possibility as older Berlingos didn't have rear doors, but can't recommend sliding doors enough if you have small kids. Was reluctant initially as the van looks naff, but have been won over by the driving experience.

Good luck on the hunt...and remember to take the pram with you on test drives so you can try the boot out...you feel a fool, but I figured the showrooms must be used to expectant parents.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
