Hi all
We have PPI claims in with the Royal Bank of Scotland and MBNA. We submitted them in October last year, didn't hear anything for 28 days and so contacted the FOS. They basically said they would look into our complaints. That was in December.
Since then, we've had another stalling letter from RBS saying our complaint was on hold pending the court case.
Can anyone please advise what we should do next? They are both very solid claims and I know some have had to wait a lot longer for a resolution, but I could do with finding out what is going on! And whether the court case means we won't get a resolution at all?
Any advice from anyone would be great!
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Lois

You say that your cases are strong would you like to share the details?
If the case was reffered to FOS in september I would imagine it is stil going to take a very long time for your caes to be resolved. MBNA are not complying with the FOS whatsoever. So its going to be difficult for your cases to be settled really until the outocme of the JR becomes clear. I know that the cases are being processed by the adjudicators but once theyre sending views they just get a JR reply so the case sits in the ombudsman queue. Your going to have to be very patient im afriad. Cheers0
