PLEASE IGNORE POST BELOW I HAVE FIXED PROBLEM
Hi can anyone advise:
I'm using a loan laptop while the screen on mine is being repaired. Problem is that the browser closes / crashes everytime I try to watch a video using Divx player or any internet host sites using this or any flash video software. It happens in both IE and FF
I have tried uninstalling the player and reinstalling but the process just stalls 3/4 of the way thru and the laptop freezes so I can't completely check if it's uninstalled prior to trying to re-install
the laptop's has AVG anti-virus / malware and windows firewall running. However I need to update the AVG each time I switch on. It's a major problem as I need to access them to watch the videos for my studies. I don't know if the software is corrupted or what to do I've never had this problem on my own laptop
Any help will be much appreciated
