Need to buy some 9 x 12 mailing bags. Do you buy yours from Ebay? Just had a look and there are many sellers, some with lots of negatives!
Anyone you can recommend?!

I buy all mine from ebay, mostly from TRS shops. However I don't always buy from the same person, I just buy the cheapest I can when i need them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. One tip though, study the photos and description carefully. A colleague of mine bought some and they were paper thin, almost translucent and re reading the advert very carefully it was apparent that the seller knew they were thinner than most people would expect and was careful in describing them as 'extra light and thin' suitable for light clothing or to protect bubble wrapped items.
I found a seller several months ago with coloured bags at the same cost as grey (soecial offer if you bought 1000) and they are wodnerful, they don't tear or rip and the sticky bit always works. I've also had some that were expensive as they can be recycled and are bio degradable.but they are nasty things that tear easily and don't seal properly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The best place will depend on how many you want to buy.
For bulk buys I would recommend this site:
http://www.polypostalpackaging.com/shop/
Ebay is great if you need smaller quantities, you will see a couple of TRS sellers that have very good prices.
What I used to do was to search by price using the size and quantity I want (for example: mailing bags 13 x 18 200). The cheapest sellers will be those with low or poor feedback, and a couple who don't have a lot of neg fb, but their answers are appalling, so best to avoid.
You will find 2 or 3 who have very good prices and excellent fb, those are the ones I'd go for.
Before I started buying in bulk I used to buy from this seller: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/All-Pack-Solutions
They do free next day courier delivery.
Unfortunately they don't do the size you want though.
PS between the different sellers I've used on ebay, and the websites I bought from I have still not been able to find out which thickness is which, like I get identical bags with different thickness advertised, and not even a matter of one particular seller being less reliable than the others...0
