Favour as in on the table, or gift as in for being a flower girl?

If it's a favour - our 20 month old niece was at our wedding in September and we went for Milky Bar buttons in her favour bag, as agreed with her parents. We also had a goody bag as she was the youngest by 10 years, including a couple of bananas, a jigsaw and some more chocolate buttons.

If it's a gift - how about a silver bangle?

If it's just a favour, I wouldn't bother looking for something different - the parents will have it anyway!

We did goody bags for the kids at our wedding to keep them occupied during the meal. The kids that age got some Crayola pencils (big chunky ones for 12 months +) and some paper to scribble on. A little toy suitable for under 3s as well.

When we looked through our guestbook the next morning we found that one family had put the picture their kids had drawn of us in it. :D

Thanks for your help. It is for a favour not a gift. We are also having goody bags for the kiddies (only about 12 of them then the 23 month old girl) but wanted something different for her as she is easily distracted and can get bored very quickly.

It's really thoughtful of you wanting to get something, but I'm sure her parents will bring toys etc for her.

I wrote a blog about things to keep children entertained at weddings - there's some gorgeous Usborne Sticker books mentioned that have just come out this year - wedding colouring book and sticker book. Hope this helps x

    What is everyone else getting?
Would the kids goodie bag be suitable?

Am I right in thinking that your theme has butterflies?....if so what about a butterfly hair clip or a butterfly wand...or wings.....that way she could dress as a butterfly princess!....Wings are fairly cheap and the wow factor of them should keep her entertained.
