Looking for designer radiator - what do I need to know?

Hi,
we are looking to replace the old single panel radiator in our dining room with a "designer" radiator. The radiator is going to go on the wall that we plan to paint rich red, and we are looking at black radiators.
We have seen this one that we both like, and it £270 (Reina Neva):

The question is, does anyone know where we can find something similar cheaper?
What else do we need to get? I assume some valves? What valves should I look for? (one is TRV - which ones are best?).
Anything else I need to consider?

You can choose any size. As for the valve's best leave that to your plumber.A thankyou is payment enough .0 -
Thanks, this is the seller 'i have seen it from first, and also checked their shop (not ebay). I am very tempted to buy it, but then it is £270...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

You should also check the heat output in BTU/Wattage, as some designer radiators are more decorative than effective and you don't want to end up with a cold room that 'looks good'. The one in your picture looks ok, but always best to check to be on the safe side.0

Thanks - I checked BTU's. This one has over 5000BTU, which is more than I need for the room (different calculators put is at about 3000 to 3500). The room has patio doors (6ft width) and another external wall.
I am just not sure if too high number for BTUs will be just too much? I like my house warm, so wouldn't even think of buying something too low.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
If you fit a TRV to it you'll be able to turn it down if too hot. Thanks - I checked BTU's. This one has over 5000BTU, which is more than I need for the room (different calculators put is at about 3000 to 3500). The room has patio doors (6ft width) and another external wall.

Yes, we will be putting TRV.
Can an yone suggest any good brands/websites to buy from?
The model above looks like shiny black, we would probably prefer mat black. Or maybe stainless steel or anthracite - any suggestions?..Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
