Be careful of the ebay stuff- there are quite a few fakes going on at the moment according to those who bought it on makeupalley.com
I want to try this stuff, however cannot budget nor get my head around the huge price tag for such a small amount when the majority of it seems to be silicons and other 'cones.
I worry about using 'cones as they do dry out hair- at first you feel your hair looks perfect but it basicly seals over the hair shaft and stops the hair absorbing natural oils and so in time the hair becomes drier and drier and needs more and more 'cones...it then can become overloaded very easily and needs to be clarified, which itself is fine except clarifying leaves the hair feeling...nasty as it has little natural moisture left. It can then as a result become easily damaged by heat, wind and styling.
I think 'cones are OK from time to time but its when you use it every day or at every wash that it becomes a problem- and also how much of the stuff you use. Oils tend to work better in the long term as they don't form that same seal around the hair strands or zap moisture from it.
Each to their own, thats just my opinion!0 -
Thanks for all your replies. I'm going to invest in a bottle but I won't be using it every day as I don't like to put too many products on my hair so will just it when I'm going somewhere special."It's an anywhere road for anybody, anyhow . . . . . but no matter the road is life" - Jack Kerouac0

Be great if you could let us know how it works outMost people seem pretty 'wowed' with the first few uses but never hear how it works longer term other then the odd person on makeupalley saying it overloaded their hair/needed to clarify/caused frizz as a result where as as we all know, the good news never gets reported!

Just been reading this thread and thought I would add my experience.
I have been using this product for well over a year now and I must admit I do love it. I have quite long colored hair and use it once a week (about size of 10p blob!). I still have about a 1/3rd of my bottle left so it def does last.
I hope this helps someone0 -
After reading all your posts I'd love to try this product.
Please could you tell me the best place on line to buy it.
Thanks x0 -
I've heard good things about this product and found some really cheap in TK Maxx! Bottles of shampoo and conditioner (not sure of size but I would say perhaps 250ml) for £9.99 each and a squirty pump bottle of just a serum I guess, which I think was £12.99 but was a smaller bottle.
I didn't buy them but hoping they're still there when I next go in so I can stock up!0 -

Absolutely love Moroccan oil, although a month ago when it finished, ordered macademia oil, its pretty much the same price and the same effect. makes my hair so shiny and silky. Usually use it in the morning before leaving my house for work/uni and before blow drying my hair.0

I have the travel pack, it would be a lovely present.
Hairdressers are always saying pantene is bad because they want you to buy whatever expensive salon brand they are selling. While I don't use it myself I'm sure pantene is fine.

I was wondering whether to source some pure Argan oil to try as it seems well down the list in the commercial version.
I bought some Argan Oil Treatment from Superdrug last week, and have used it twice so far. Love it! I have mostly grey, fine hair, and it has left it smooth and shiny, taking away the coarseness of my aging hair, leaving it feeling soft and silky!
It's on offer at the moment for £7.49:-
