The skys the limit now - look at it positively - you been at Halifax for AGES - andI bet you would be an asset to any company that had the good sense to take you on.     Yep I remember them!! God I sound ancient.:eek:

    Had savings accounts with them when I was a kid. mam and dad had their mortgage with them and I of course followed in foot steps.

    Can't fault them for customer service as they really halped us out during a stressful time some money went missing out of our current account without our consent.

    Our mortgage is with them though we are paying SVR which is quite high compared to what some on here are paying ....BUT our mortgage is only for £34000 so I begrudge paying a fee to change with all the hassle that entails to save a few quid.

    Love the ease with which we can over pay mortgage as well which is something we are doing as often as possible. :D
