Ebay / Facebook question

My son stayed over at ours recently, which was pleasant for the 10% of the time that he wasnt at my desk on Facebook ! - my queery is that whilst on that site ,he posted a link from Ebay as a shortcut onto one of his friends page
( much in the same way that posters do on this forum when drawing attention to a particular listing )

my concern is that whenever I open the link in his friends page and my Ebay account is open ,the page that loads from Facebook shows my username at the top as being logged in - so would anyone else opening that link from FB have access to my account from that page ? ( when I sign out from my account the FB page that comes up then states signed out ) :(
As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question ! ;)

it could be because you have a cookie from ebay that recognises you and keeps you logged on.
Try clearing your cookies etc, and see if it asks you to log on.
It should be only you, from your pc, who can stay logged on, regardless of the link you follow.
Alternatively you can try using another pc, or mobile phone, to open the link, or ask a trusted friend to do it for you.

If you want ebay to log you out each time, and use firefox, there is an extension that will delete the new types of cookies used by ebay (I think it's a flash cookie) that are more difficult to delete.
If you need it I will look it up for you.
