Hanging mirror and weight

I purchased the Levanger rectangular mirror from Ikea and need some advice on hanging. There are two holes either side so you set it on two screws in the wall and let in drop a cm or two until it slides into place.
The mirror weighs 12kg and will be placed above the fireplace through plaster and into solid brick. What rawl plugs and screws would carry this weight and make it secure. I only have 5-6.5mm screws and appropriate rawl plugs(Says light & medium weight use, but what is light & medium use?).
Many thanks. Hopefully get over to B&Q today.

Aha. Thanks for the reply. I think there has been a bit of mistyping on my part. The screw thread is 5-6.5mm (guage 10-14). The screw length is 30mm.
Went to B&Q and the guy said that they will do the job. Be great to get a second opinion.0 -
Mmm - still only an inch. I wouldn't trust them. Methinks the "guy in B&Q" is possibly talking out of his fundamantal.

Need clarification on this please. The mirror won't be leaning off the wall at the top. It will be hanging straight flush against wall so I was thinking it would be a weight issue and not screw length. Thanks again.0
