Wireless keyboard and mouse query - can I use 2 separates?

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse but the mouse has gone on the blink.

I could buy a new set or just replace the mouse. But would that work? I have a USB receiver at present - will another USB receiver cause a conflict or will it work ok?

It should be ok, cordless keyboards and mice can use different channels, when you connect the new mouse it'll detect the signal from the existing keyboard/mouse and choose a different channel.

My mouse has out-lasted 3 keyboards. Never had a problem with a new keyboard causing conflicts/problems.

Keyboard dead using mouse with transmitter A .

Replace keyboard and using with its own transmitter .

So two transmitters working has to be two as not work without own transmitter in my case .

Yes but as A is ten years old and B is one year old though both the same make i expect different wireless channels .
But i must check reverse mouse to radio as old mouse i not tested that way .

yes - 2 different sets of batteries to be sure. There is no re-association. It should just pick up the mouse once the batteries are in.

No sync / pair button underneath? Some may work straight away (even if they have buttons) but others need a helping hand.

I recommend a Logitech set. They last for ages.
