Jebus, a nine minute video just to tell you something that everyone has known for years. Unfunny and uninsightful.

Yes, you can recharge alkaline batteries, but it doesn't work very well, and there is a significant risk that the batteries will overheat and leak, particularly if you use a 'fast charger'. There, I've just saved you nine minutes of your life.

I used to do in the 1980's. Got several charges out of them before they leaked.

I gather the die-off is more like 4-5 cycles before they don't take any more charge. You should look at using a pulsed current with a 1.5v offset from what I hear, but you may want to look deeper into it, or better still buy some of the excellent new high capacity rechargeables
