What worming tablets do you give your dog?

I am sure this has been covered 100 times before, thought there would be a sticky but there isn't.
What do you use please? I was charged £12 for ONE Mibemax worming course for my 5kg pup from the Vet, however last time I looked online it is prescription only so cannot get it online.
They used to give Drontal but as soon as that became available online and in Boots, the vet stopped doing it and went to Milbemax which is prescription only. Surprise, surprise.
I have some for my other big dog as I bought a years supply, but I am assuming it is OK to give her something other than Milbemax - and if so, what do you suggest?
Thank you.

Our vet prescribes Drontal for our one-year lab - it's all he's ever had. The vet even kindly pointed out that I could buy it cheaper on-line

Wow, that is a great vet. Wish mine would do the same, they always used to have Drontal.0

Drontal. We get it from the chemist, they are cheaper than the vet.0

As I have 2 dogs and 5 cats I buy panacur 10% from our local farm supplier, its about £20 but does one and a half 'rounds' of worming all of them, you can buy it online, if you have less animals there is a 2.5% one available tooMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

12 quid for one tablet???
Is your vet handing it over in gold bags?
I pay 4 quid and the vet herself advised swapping to them as the Drontal mean I needed to buy two tabs for my dog so the milbemax was cheaper0 -
Drontal/Drontal Plus, we still get from our vets but can get it from Pests at Home too, almost certainly cheaper online!
Re Milbemax, I tend not to use this anyway (the ivermectin/collie/MDR1 thing) because if I need to worm a dog at work, I need something that is OK for all breeds.0
