I'd put your details into this really handy little calculator and it should help: http://www.turn2us.org.uk/benefits_search.aspx
I know just how hard it can be to find work right now and I really wish you all the very best in this.
Good luck, and take care of your family

The best the OP can hope to get is help with rent and council tax depending on savings. As that effects the amount of benefit.
The mother of the children will be getting tax credits and child benefit for them. So you will not get anything for the children.
If you GF moves in any benefits that are income based will be lowered or removed.

yes its income based0

You can not claim Child tax credits etc as your ex claims this for your children - you can only have 1 claim per child.
If your JSA is income based you will lose this if you move in with your new girlfriend and she will be expected to support you financially until you found a job. If she has a child and claims child tax credits and working tax credits she will have to close her single claim and open a joint claim - note however that she will lose entitlement to help with childcare if she receives this as it would be deemed that you would be avaliable to provide care.Daughters Sealed Saving Pot - start them young :money: £90 :T0 -

As I have already said housing benefit to pay the rent and help with council tax.
If you don't have a CSA arrangement then you will to talk to your ex and come to agreement if you pay anything. Normally if on benefits then you pay £5 a week.

if your girlfriend is over 25 and working at least 30 hours per week, she may be entitled to working tax credits.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
