teletubby bubble toy - aargh!

My parents found an offer somewhere on the money saving site (can't find it now but it is here somewhere!) for a bubble toy that works with your dvd player to bring a teletubby game to your children and I'd just like to say - it's APPALLING. I have just spent an hour trying to set the wretched thing up and it is now packed up and awaiting its fate in the nearest charity shop. If you are thinking of buying it, 'Just don't,' is all I can say. The set up is ridiculously complicated and I seriously doubt that it can bring any benefit to your children that an hour's quality time spent collecting conkers (or something) wouldn't outweigh.

Set mine up last night - took about 10 minutes. That was for a Panasonic ES20 DVD Recorder.
I thought it was going to be difficult (given all the people having problems and the fact I have it set to "Remote 3") but just put the setup disc in and followed the instructions.
The Teletubbies game is actually one of the better ones I triedNow Balamory.....that was awful, and I guess unfinished as the screen display for the second page (inside the cupboard) is different from the book page (only three of the six displayed items work)
One thing it didn't seem to mention was how to load the books into the console - you just prise the spring binding slightly and it then clips on.
The books themselves are two sided too - one side is for the stand alone games and the other for the DVD games. They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
