new kitchen sink leaking

i had a new kitchen installed in my victorian tenement house. There is a large reappearing puddle of water under the sink just under the maze of new plastic pipes usually in the mornings. The pipes all seem dry, when we run water there are no leaks, after running a wash there are no leaks, after filling up the sink and leaving it there are no leaks, we have been really careful about drying off after doing dishes.
any ideas what I should check next? it is a puzzlement.
Thanks in advance.

The washing machine waste pipe or dishwasher waste is not connected nearby is it?
If it is that could be the culprit!0 -
yes, washing machine connects at the same place. I think I'll have to check this one again. thanks0

turns out to have been a missing rubber washer from a valve.
it is such a relief to know the cause, though.0
