About 3 years ago when I got Sky they had a Garden TV channel (one of the reasons I got it). It had endless repeats of the sort of shows you are talking about.

Unfortunately they took it off air not long after I took out Sky and not aware of any other channels taking on the mantel of screening these repeats.

I think at the time somebody suggested Rural TV as next best alternative but gave up checking it as never really had anything I was interested in and not sure if it is still running.

There's not a gardening channel as such, but sometimes the channels around 250 do show series of shows. They seem to come in chunks, so one will show the complete series of 3 things at once. You just have to keep your eyes open.
I haven't noticed anything on at this time. If you like fishing however, the tv world is your mollusc atm.

The Horticultural Channel will be broadcast on Information TV from March.
Sky's digital TV subscribers can look forward to tuning into a new gardening-based micro-channel, which is due to launch next year.

The Horticultural Channel will broadcast on the Information TV channel, which can be found at position 166 in the Sky TV planner and 402 on Freesat, when it hits screens for the first time on March 6th 2011, reports Digital Spy.

It will be available to watch from 09:00 on Sunday mornings, with all shows then repeated on Information TV the following Friday.

there you go thouhg it would have a google to see when and where its coming on
    may be worth a look
