Terms and Conditions

1. The prize consists of one trip for two people, and will be for either a 13 or 14 night duration. It will be taken within 12 months of it being awarded, and components of the prize will be subject to availability.
2. The prize will be provided by The Holiday Place PLC.
3. The prize will be made up of flights, in-resort transfers, hotel accommodation, and live-aboard safari dive boat accommodation in Jardines de la Reina, Cuba. The winners will be responsible for their own visa arrangements (we can assist) and departure taxes when leaving Cuba, and all other personal expenditure.
4. Flights to Cuba will be in Economy Class, and from London Gatwick Airport. Hotels will be 4* standard on a B+B basis in Havana, and an all-inclusive basis in Varadero. The live-aboard safari boat will be allocated upon booking, and will be on a full board basis, including 12 dives.
5. There is a fixed retail value of £5,000 for this prize. There is no cash alternative to the prize or reimbursement from this value, but the winner may upgrade/add to their holiday at their own expense.
6. It is a condition of purchase of a 'The Holiday Place' holiday that, at the time of purchase, the winner has adequate travel insurance cover. Details of their existing policy must be supplied and must provide adequate coverage that includes the activity of scuba diving and repatriation to the UK in case of medical emergency or death.
7. Once you have registered on the site you will automatically be entered into the prize draw. No purchase is necessary.
8. By entering the competition, you are automatically subscribing to our scuba diving holiday newsletter. You may unsubscribe from this at any time.
9. The winner will be selected at random by computer on the last working day of March 2011. The Holiday Place's decision will be final. Winners will be contacted by email by the 5th of March 2011. If you have won, you will be given a telephone number to call to claim your prize. If contact cannot be made within 28 days, the prize will be forfeited. It is the winner's responsibility to notify The Holiday Place of any change in contact information. If you are a winner, you must claim your prize within 28 days of being notified.
10. The prize is for use by the winner only and is not transferable.
11. Entrants must be over 18 years of age and resident in the UK.
12. If you are a winner, you agree, as a condition of receiving the Prize, to participate in any publicity or promotion organised by the Promoter.
13. The promoter is The Holiday Place plc, 1-3 Drakes Courtyard, 291 Kilburn High Road, London. (The Promoter) ATOL 3101.
14. Entry implies acceptance of these rules and conditions. Only one entry permitted per person. The Holiday Place does not take responsibility for any lost entries.
15. The Holiday Place reserves the right to withdraw these offers without notice.

The prize will be provided by The Holiday Place PLC, and winners will be PADI (or equivalent) qualified Open Water Divers as a minimum at the time of the prize award.
