Asda Mobile Unlimited Bundle - READ before buying

HI,
I purchased the Asda Unlimited Bundle a month ago in January.
The bundle is 2000 minutes and 2000 texts for 30 days.
What they don't tell you - The first 1000 minutes is for 2 weeks meaning that if you have only used 10 minutes, you will lose the remainder. The remaining 1000 minutes will be left for the next 2 weeks.
I noticed this as I was amazed to use my 2000 minutes in 3 weeks. I queried the usage with the Asda Customer Services agent and he disclosed this revelation above.
It does not say anything like this on the literature and it's something someone wishing to buy this bundle should be aware of.
I hope this helps as from personal experience.

That is pretty bad actually, their Ts and Cs don't say anything about it either -9.8 The Asda Mobile pay as you go bundles i.e. Unlimited, Everyday, Simply Talk, Simply Text, Textaholic and Talkaholic are based on 30 days usage. Customers going over their allowance will be charged the standard Asda Mobile charges for calls and texts. The Asda Mobile Unlimited bundle is subject to a fair usage policy of 2000 minutes and 2000 texts per 30 days.
I would try and take it further if I were you... They shouldn't be selling a package that doesn't live up to what it appears to be.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Asda have just fallen foul of ASA standards and been told to pull their price guarantee campaign. Like most companies, it's all about spin, smoke and mirrors. However, they can't charge you for something that isn't mentioned in their t&c or you can sue them. Again, like most dishonest companies they would no doubt settle if that happened.0

Asda have now ditched the tariff very quickly without any notice in what looks to be a panic? The customer service staff say that new tariffs maybe made available at a later date. Smells all a bit fishy. Also spoken to others on the forum who have since discoved that Asda has lied about all the phone being unlocked. You don't think to check until you have to switch network when they remove the tariff but turns out all the phone were locked after all even though the copy on the website still is selling them and unlocked.
I bet they could roll back the problems on this one as plenty of people are unhappy about Asda Mobile0 -
