IKEA charges

Hi Everyone , this is my first post so not sure if it has come up before but if so -accept apologies . I am very angry with the charges IKEA have made for late payment . I think they should advertise that they make a charge of £20 for late payment . Is this a common late charge for store cards.

It will be in the terms and conditions. And yes, it is a common late charge.

As far as I know credit card companies and store card companies all charge for late payments and some charge more than £20. The usual advice is to set up a direct debit to cover the minimum payment so that you don't incur a charge by forgetting and then pay any extra on top, if you want to, by the usual methods. It is a bummer though - has happened to me a couple of times :p that was when my finances were so precarious I never knew if I'd have enough money to cover DDs

of course its common, do you think that companies would allow you to have somethinng on drip and if you make a late payment they wouldnt bother you??

the majority if not all store cards, credit cards, anything else that involves credit charge you for being late with payments!

did you really not know that??(welcome to the real world!)
