Been made redundant after 6 weeks...

Whilst i realise i wont get any redundancy etc if i sign on i wondered what the situation would be with my rent ? can i claim any monies towards it ? I have no savings as such. Just wanted a quick heads up to know what to expect when i go to sign on on Monday.

If you are renting you can claim housing benefit. If you are a home owner you can claim help with the interest on the mortgage.0
