Plastering Kitchen

Plastering Kitchen

Just made a complete mess of my Kitchen in my flat tried to cover over woodchip with textured paint and half of the woodchip has come off other part is impossible to get off as kitchen ceiling is nearly 12 foot tall (georgian conversion) and just too high in the corners for me to get too.

Come to the decision that i am going to have to get the ceiling replastered.

Room is aproximately 15'5 by 8'5

Firstly how much do you think ceiling will cost (i think it may have to be plasterboarded)

and how much do you think it will be to replaster whole room?? (may not get that done dependant on cost)

Live in plymouth if that is any help.

  • Evening Hungary.Just to overboard and skim the ceiling, you could be looking at around £120-£150 mark.To do the whole room could be approx £250-£300.But as alway get a few quotes in from locals plasterers.I will pm you a web site of a plasterer i know of in plymouth.

What cornicing has it got? Because overboading it may mess up the line with the edge of the cornicing.
