Sold items on e bay, money not coming through on paypal

As it says I have sold a couple of items in the last few days on buy it now.
Have had an e mail to say payment made but on my e bay account there is an egg timer in the payment column & an option to 'claim your payment'. It's as if I don't have a paypal account, but I do have.
Any ideas?

CHeck you've used the right email address for paypal (I made this mistake once).
Are you new to Ebay? The payment could well be on hold.Payment a day challenge: £236.69

Thanks, will give this a go.
I did take an e mail address off last week as I had my personal & work e mails on & wanted everything through my personal e mail.0 -

All that matters is that the one you listed on the auction page is still valid as that is where the money will have gone.
A lot of us have made mistakes and the trick is to be really really nice to the buyers and explain how they need to assist you in sorting it out. If it takes you more than a couple of days to sort out then offer a part refund on postage or something as an apology. When i did it i accidentally listed my email address on the listing as a .co.uk when it was a .com address- do'h.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've added the e mail address back on, will the money come through or do I need to do something else?
