barclays ppi , SUCCESS !! offsetting problems ???!!!!!???

i recently had a claim upheld by BARCLAYS , which due to the forums and the letter on this site was a success , however i had a problem , barclays wanted to offset the money i paid to the premium to another current acount i had with barclays which was with a DCA , i wasnt going to stand for this

i basically wrote a letter , detailing and mentioning FOS guidlines , stating that if they offset the money to my current account (which i had no access to) they wouldnt be putting me in the position i was before i got the loan and the mis sold premium , because for all they knew the premiums could have put me in a form of dept, also mentioning that thy were UNABLE to find the deatils of my loan purchase leading to my claim being UPHELD , and mentioning that i was ILLEGALLY sold a poilcy , they also didnt like when i mentioned that because i had a claim upheld , then THE FOS were willing to make a further investigation on my claim as they were withholding money i had PAID to the PPI , and as soon as the FOS start an investigation BARCLAYS would have to pay the investigation fee which can be up to £500 , if anyone has a similar problem to what i had , the moral of this thread is NEVER GIVE UP , never let these banks bully us , and we should do eveything in our power to get back what we deserve , barclays were actually entitled to offset my money , but with a decent letter and my inability to go away with out a fight , i won a cheque for ..................£717.11p

I think at one time people would accept what the banks said, but i think with sites like this, more people know that the banks are "not god"
