Hi,
I am resitting my first year at university. I was wondering what grants and funds i can apply for apart from the government standard grant.
Cheers

There are none.
You should also be wary that if you repeat another year you will be unable to get grants or maintenance loan.0 -
Why would you be able to get extra funding for repeating the year?
You are allowed loans/grants for the length of your course plus 1 year so if you're repeating your 1st year you'll receive the same funding as any other student. However if you want to repeat again you will not be entitled to funding unless you have extenuating circumstances.
Some charities do provide extra grants but they're very competitive and they're usually have specific criteria. http://www.family-action.org.uk/section.aspx?id=10370
