  • a very nice gesture , but , if this person had wanted anyone to know he made the donation he would have made himself known.
    this may well put him and others off making anonymous donations .

    also not sure of the legalities of showing images of him without his consent.

    leave the man alone ! he has done nothing wrong so why should the paper be wanting to find out who he is ?

    and the " lets see if its stolen " approach takes the biscuit !
    we all have bad days , some more than others ..................

    Was thinking exactly the same on both points, he obviously didn't want to make anything of it, poor guy. And the checking to see if it was stolen is just plain rude!

    i would certainly never make a donation to them after seeing this
