tiling bathroom wall yourself, when remving the old tiles

can they be resold? are they of any value?

also when removing old tiles is a lot of mess left on the walls, and how best is it to remove it before putting the new ones on :)

  • It's extremely unlikely they will be worth anything and if they were you shouldn't be removing them. Given that this is a bathroom and presumably the place isn't listed then they are worthless.
    To clear the old stuff off the wall I suggest you use a proper scraper like :

    I would use an SDS drill, but that's because I've got one for various reasons.
