Is it safe to use the above Model GS605 to connect to my router and my network drive and printer will plug into the switch. Will my files on the Network drive be safe? I.e. as It's connected via the switch which is connected to the router? Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for your answers in advance.

The files on the network are only as safe as the operating system installation you're using. If its been infected with malware that runs a server and allows connection from the internet then anything that can browse the network can browse a connected drive. However the likelihood of that is fairly remote.0
