Expanding memory on xbox 360

kaza

I bought my son an xbox 360 4gb slim console for xmas and want to expand the memory as we have downloaded a few games and the memory is now full?

Could someone please tell me what I need to buy to do this, I have seen the 8 and 16gb sandisk xbox usb, is this recommended?

Many thanks

You need a hard drive for it, but ensure it is a slim xbox one and not the old xbox one.
(The old one can be fitted in but its a bit more technical).

Not entirely sure, but reading the description and reviews, it sounds like the right one. Some people say you don't need a transfer cable for a 4GB unit.

I think you found the right one for the slim you mention in your first post.

The first 3 reviews on Amazon are people upgrading a 4GB slim - and it sounds like the original 4GB of storage stays as well as the new drive.
